Happy April Fools Day! To celebrate, I am releasing a Pokémon parody demo called NOT Pokémon: Misty Orange! This is a dating sim parody of the early Pokémon games/anime. It's based on Pokébeach's 2008 interview with Masamitsu Hidaka, the former director of the Pokémon anime. In addition to some other gems, Hidaka stated the Pokémon anime wouldn't then keep Misty as a permanent character because they liked switching up girl characters and slapping them in bathing suits to keep boys interested. The current demo is a third of the game's length, with an expected completion of the whole game within the next two to three years.
